This is my GrandDad's typewriter. I'm borrowing it at the moment, at least until I can find some new ribbon for the typewriter that I was given over the Holidays. I love old typewriters. Really I love anything that is old, made with metal parts, and still living its purpose. Kinda like vintage cameras. You've got to admit, they were built to last!
Today, I opened up the case that the typewriter sits in so that I could snap a few pictures, one of which is the photo above. Not too long after I left the room to upload the image onto my computer did I begin to hear that nostaligic sound. . . "click-clack-DING!!" followed by the sweetest laughter. Well, it seems that my toddler likes typewriters too!

Lovely photo! I adore typewriters also!! Im not much of a flower girl (I kill all things floral) and so my husband often surprises me with other goodies instead... one of those goodie's was my own gorgeous typewriter! I will have to post a picture soon for ya!
